Jackplate transducer mount on ZXR / FXR

Looking for some opinions on Jack plate mounts for my AI 3-1 I need to get installed on my ZXR20. I've looked at the BFE, Ryteck, and the Transducer Shield. I have a atlas hydraulic plate otherwise I would of just mounted on the transom where the humminbird transducer was. Looking to see what others have used and what your results were. I am thinking the BFE since it is the cheapest. The Rytech looks like it could be difficult and still allow the plate to hit it.

    Thanks in Advance.

I have the dual transducer mount from premier sonar on my manual slidemaster. Its built well and works good, have some interference on the graphs but havent had the setup long enough to figure it out

Any jack plate mount is susceptible to what is known as Jack Plate Echo
This is where the signal bounces around in the jack plate and creates image interference in the down column

It can be something small or so bad it fills the down column
The lower the transducer is from the jackplate the better the image

Best option is to install a hole shot plate to the bottom of the jack plate and mount the transducer to it
Just make sure the hole shot plate is flush with the bottom of the jack plate (Some are Not)

The 2 images below show examples of jackplate echo
this is the noise near the center line of the image
