Center console/step for an 09 18X3

Has anyone installed one and if so how did you secure it down. I’m a little worried about drilling screws in.

I'm getting ready to install one and plan on using strong velcro to attach it. After talking with other guys on here, I know several others have used the velcro as well and have not had any issues with it coming loose while trailering or running down the lake.

That’s a good idea I hadn’t thought of. Just do the entire underside and call it a day. Think I’ll look into that as I continue to upgrade my boat.

Bought the Bass Cat step console and it works great. They can do custom measurements and mine screwed in fine on the front hinges away from the tank toward the deck floor. Love it. My only complaint is it is not insulated and it gets hot in there in the summer and will wipe your phone out with the heat. Here is a pic.

I bought a center console lid from great lakes skipper. I just need to custom build a box as I am trying to upgrade my triton also.

My current project is getting this and replacing all of the black non skid pads that bleed every time they get wet. Thinking of just using gator guards or something like that and putting true non skid down.
