I have a 919, 80lb ultrex, 2 12 V G31 LA batteries and will need to replace my trolling batteries soon. I will replace with lithium, just not sure if 50ah or 100ah?
Any experience with 50ah vs 100ah with this setup.

I use 50's with an 80# they last all day but I think 60 would be better just in case. 100 would be overkill but as they say, you can't have too much.
It depends on your fishing style....I have the Ionic 50ah on my Ultrex and can make 2-3 trips before charging but i also dont fish like others or those types of water......previously i had the group 27 lead acid batts and never killed them so i ended up with the 50's. Like said, 100ah might be overkill but if you if your style is on the troller non stop, and fast, that would be the ones.
Drew should pop up in here sometime today and can help you out.

May need to look at the draw on the 24V motor, max on the 50a battery is 50A, works for 36V motor and I ran 50AH Relions on my last boat and rigging new on the same way with 36V Ultrex. Just concerned current draw may be higher on the 24V.
24v draws more amps than the 36v. I run a 36 ultrex with 3 50a Ionics and run the tm hard on tournament days. Most times I’m down to 60-65% but have gone as low as the 30% range on an exceptionally windy day. Personally with a 24v I’d go with 100’s
I have 2 50ah's for 80 Ultrex and have never gone under 60% fishing all day current driven conditions. Now I'm fishing out of 618 but I don't think there is much difference in weight. Hope this will help.
I have two 50 amp Ionics with a 24v Fourtrax. It’s on a Bullet 21 XDC. I fished Toledo Bend this weekend, windy as heck and never got below 60%. I was nervous when I first bought them. Was worried I would run out of power after a long day. No more worrying.
