    Falcon low rider casting rod repair

    Hi guys I have a rod that the 3rs guide is broke of and would like to repair this.
    how hard is it and where would you get the parts to do this.

    It’s really easy and real cheap compared to replacing it. If you have a custom rod shop or know a guy that builds they have the tools, supplies and know how to make a nice repair that will look good and last.

    A shop would charge in the neighborhood of $20 plus guide price to fix the rod. If you just want a guide and do it yourself many of the better sporting goods stores have a few guides and tip tops around to buy, many times they replace tip tops for little or no money just parts.

    It is easy if you have done it before. If it will be your first time, it's pretty well guaranteed that your expoxy job on the winding threads will not look great. If you want it to look pro but have never done it before, get it done by a rod builder.
