Bravo 1 FS vs Trophy Plus

I would like to know what pitch Trophy Plus would be the equivalent to a 24 P Bravo 1 FS.

Some say that a Tempest Plus runs about 1 inch stiffer and the Fury 3 about 2 inches than a Bravo.

Anyone with firsthand experience with the Bravo and Trophy Plus on the same boat who can share results?

I know the Bravo is a larger diameter than the Trophy Plus. Would the Trophy Plus need a lower engine height?

My jackplate is not hydraulic.

They seem to run the same for me. I normally run a 25" Bravo XS and got 6460 rpms light, a 26" trophy plus 6260......... the Bravo is a much better prop.

My boat is heavy so guessing the larger diameter of the Bravo will carry the weight better.

Bravo FS/XS is a superior prop in every aspect to the Trophy plus.

Hey Holeshot. I am looking at the same thing. I have a 175 pro xs on a 189 so same hull with a little less hp. I currently have a 22 tempest plus and it runs good on the boat but have some slipping while turning left on slow turns with motor trimmed down so looking at a bravo or trophy 4 blade. bware on this forum switched from a tempest plus 22 to a bravo 1 and it fixed his slipping but lost several mph. I know you have the 200 but do you experience any speed difference in the tempest and bravo?

The handling of the Bravo is much better, holds better in turns, less steering torque, and stays on plane at lower speeds. My Tempest Plus is a good backup prop but I like my Bravo FS better and run it most of the time.

My lower unit is a Torque Master with 1.75 gear ratio so that would be different I believe.

Thanks Holeshot. The gear ratio is different. I believe mine is 1.85. I might have to start looking a lot closer at the Bravo. I appreciate the info.
