    Compartment Fans

How are you running your compartment fans, lids open, lids closed?

Same as BMCD. Never had issue with moisture in the compartments.

Since I store mine outside, I run it nearly any time I'm fishing with the hatches closed. Doesn't hurt. That said, be careful running them while parked. The battery chargers don't like charging a battery under load and will eventually shut off and your battery will die.

Don't have them, just have one of these I run since my boat is kept outdoors. I do keep the lids vented to aid in airflow.

I figured you guys would get a kick from this !

Here's my compartment ventilation system ..... My boat stays in the water 8+ months out of the year. Works great now, but plan on installing small fans this year. All gear is kept in tupperware containers for added protection.
