    2005 Triton Tr-21x - Hull orifice question

Aside from the two screened intakes (for live well water supply) in the lower rear area of the hull and shown in the included photographs, what are the other hull openings for. I recently purchased this boat and trying to learn all the features of the boat.

    Thanks,

    John

OBTW, I don’t like the fact your hull overhangs the inside bunks. Might want to check w/ a Triton rep.

The big holes are overflow. Small ones next to plug are drains.

Lightning 6. I noticed you have a splash guard/cowl cover on your engine. Do you recall who the manufacturer of that is?

Mine is from RMP. They no longer make them for the optimax…..so I bought it from a bbc member selling in the miscellaneous forum.

This board is awesome with the knowledge and insight here. I viewed the post out of curiosity and saw the comment regarding the inside bunk length. I am going to replace mine on a 2004 TR20 and checked and mine are also short by about 3 inches. Should I extend them out past the boat a couple of inches. Would leaving them the same length just short of the end on the hull contribute to gel coat fracture or worse?

Bunks should fully support the hull ……should NOT leave any fiberglass extending beyond them. Obviously, on a stepped hull the inner bunks just need to extend past the stepped portion.

Apologies for not being clear before. Apologies, picture from Triton website would not upload clearly…..but shows all 4 bunks extending beyond the fiberglass.
