I really don't understand the love for pledge. I get that armor all and some other products were horrible for vinyl, but pledge offers zero UV protection.

I have been using 3M vinyl cleaner and restorer since I bought the boat new in 2010. My seats are 15 years old and are still soft, pliable and look new.

Had a 88 caracal I purchased in 89 sold in 2014 still had factory seats. Used only pledge seats look new. Purchased my 13 p2 in 14 and still nothing but pledge. Guess it's just what I've have had great results with.

Lightly used? Stored inside / under cover? Hard to argue with results, but honestly I can see cases where a guy could use distilled water and the seats would still look good if the boat was lightly used / stored inside.

Definitely not lightly used! The 88 model was stored under a cover. The 13 model has it own house.
