2012 Evinrude E-Tec 200 HO Missing at idle

Hello all, was out on the lake a week ago and noticed a slight miss at idle, it only does it at idle and when Trolling at around 1500 rpm, I installed a Lowrance Engine data cable a few days ago so it would give me a bit more engine information to possibly lead me to my problem, had a tournament yesterday morning started it up and it was missing again, but At WOT I’m barely Turning 5,000 RPM the prop is a RX4 15X24 pitch Top end 60 mph on a Ranger Z520, I know the boat should have a 250 (has 200 because of some lake horsepower restrictions) But I feel like it should be turning that prop much more than 4950-5000 rpm. Could it be that this Miss is causing that issue? also what Should I look for to fix the misfire? Had Spark plugs changed by a Certified E-Tec shop ba few weeks ago and I feel like it may have started missing then but I never paid any attention to it, would a spark plug that wasn’t Gapped correctly etc cause an issue like that? Maybe an Injector is going out? The motor has 370 Hours and has been Great, Regular maintenance always performed. Thanks for any input

Start with the basics. Spark, fuel, compression.
yes the misfire can cause this. Doubtful on spark gap. Look to the spark plug wires, the coils, and pull the plugs to inspect them.
was the engine turning more than 5000 rpm and best trim before the misfire condition? Full Throttle Operating Range200 HP – 4500 to 5800 RPM

Got the problem sorted out, thanks to everyone who gave advice. I was at Lake Fork on vacation for a few days And while I was there I had just hit 300 hours and needed my 300 hour service done, took it to a “Certified” E Tec mechanic nearby and they changed the Spark plugs, turns out he only put in 5 correct spark plugs and the 6th one was a completely different Spark plug lol, swapped out all 6 spark plugs for new ones and she Runs Amazing again. But my question is, do you think that could have affected the motor in some way that may show up down the road?

Depends on what type the wrong spark plug was. But I doubt anything was hurt and would not lose any sleep over it.

17066B9A-2E53-4DE3-8E3C-65653E10884B.jpegThank you, I put about 25 hours on the motor with that Wrong spark plug in there. The Wrong Spark Plugs Number is a Champion RC8WYPB3. Do you think that plug would’ve caused something else? Here’s a picture. The Correct Spark Plugs are on the Left, The Wrong spark plug is on the right.

No worries. The misfire was due to the shorter tip. Not deep enough in the combustion chamber to ignite the fuel in the stratified fuel mode. The heat range is the same
