    NC RIVERS/COASTAL WHICH MAPPING AND WHICH BRAND UNIT??

    All the Carolina River folks which mapping unit is best for these waters(Roanoke-Neuse-Tar/Pamlico and Chowan) and which unit in your opinion is best for just mapping. I want to add an extra unit on my boat for just good mapping. Thanks in advance.

    Depends. Gonna want a coastal map for the Pamlico, not much of the tar listed on either. I have a lowrance and a Garmin on my boat, both running Navionics East and base mapping of each brand.
