Why did Skeeter stop the I series?

The I series Skeeter had a lot to offer, esp in ride and comfort. Why discontinue? Is the FX a suitable replacement?

I felt like my i Class was my best riding Skeeter until the RXR/ZXR hulls came out.

The boat in my signature is my first Bug, so I don't have anything to compare it to. But if the i-class rides better than my ZXR I'd love to take a ride in one.
