these will both BBT mounts installed as well.
Remove old units and keep one to mount on the bow for maps.
any ball park ideas on the install costs? all material has been provided.

What battery are you running them off of? The current starting battery?
I would go 50ah Lithium for just them, mounted in front hatch with short runs of proper wire to the bow and console unit/black box.
Get a NOCO Genius GEN5X1, 1-Bank, 5a charger for that
Do NOT use the wiring in your boat already.
at 125 an hour that would come out to 27.2 hours of installation. around 3400. Seems I may be getting robbed

No way its 27 hours. I don't rig boats for a living, but have done a decent amount of it. I'd expect around a half day for myself, at a reasonable pace (not rushing or busting ass).

I was quote $115 an hour to install Livescope with a new unit. Was supplying a decicated lithium and a new mount to hold my solix and 106sv. 4 hours labor and they want me to buy a $200 wire kit for it. I ended up doing it myself as I snapped my ultrex steering cable and had to take apart the front of the boat to get to the trolling motor pedal.
must be gold conductor harness for $200.
For less than $200 you can build your own cable harness.....

27 hrs?? I installed 4 units, a livescope, powerhouse lithium 16v 80ah battery and a radio with 4 speakers and didnt have maybe 10-12 hrs in it. Thats running 2 runs of 8 gauge wire to 2 fuse boxes. 20230228_070830.jpg20230228_070839.jpg

If they quoted you $3400 and you provided all mounts,units and wiring. Then yes you are getting robbed. I think that could be done around here in mid TN for less than $1500.
Heck i would do it for half of 3400 LOL :)

Where did you come up with 27 hours? You could install all your electronics AND replace your carpet in that amount of time! $300 is about the going rate just about anywhere.

Regardless 3400 to install 2 graphs and a livescope with everything provided is ridiculous

Buddy just had this done. He had Lowrance at the dash and the bow plus the ghost. He had two 126 installed at the console. Same with the bow plus livescope. Had the Garmin trolling motor added to. Transducer installed on the back and a thru hull transducer. Labor was $1000.
