Would You Buy an Older Bullet or a Newer Nitro

So with the pricing as it is currently. Would you rather purchase a 2006-2010 20-21’ Bullet with a newer 2 stroke or a 2018-2020 Nitro Z19 with the 4 stroke? From everything I’m seeing there is similar pricing on these. This will be mainly a tournament boat.

Most bullets have owners that have taken really good care of them , A good used bullet would be my choice every time .

Definitely leaning that way. Warranty is great and all but White River takes forever to fix anything.

Tournament fishermen tend to like to go fast and a Bullet is certainly a go fast boat ( have owned a 20 XD and a 21 XD ).

To answer your question the condition and hours would enter into the equation before making a decision. Perhaps you could provide some more information including H.P. Electronics, trolling motor, condition of trailer, ( Nitro has a tube trailer on the ones I have seen. They do not hold up in our brackish water ).

I know you want to get the most bang for your buck; we all do.

Post answers to the the questions I posed and you will get more useful opinions.

Good luck with your decision. I hope to see you on the water.

Well with that additional info, LOL.

Just a little humor. For a person on his third Bullet my opinion might be a tad biased.

What I’m seeing is a few Bullets, 20-21’, Ultrex, 10” graphs or so at console and bow, most have newer tandem axle trailers and well kept. 2015-2018 Pro XS 250. Then the others are 2018-2020 Nitros, Tritons, etc in the 19’ maybe 20’ range (mostly 19 at the 35-40k price point) pretty well loaded with Panoptix and everything. Most have warranty remaining. Those are kind of similarly priced.

Based on your most recent post I think you would love a Bullet.

I would pick the older bullet. Watch Team Marine videos on YouTube they say good things about bullet.

My bullet is a '99. Not a stress crack or an issue. Been carrying a big block most of it's life. Bullet for me for sure.
