Ultrex/Fortrex mounting on 1997 395tf

So we took the old Evinrude trolling motor off my son's 1997 395tf to mount up a Fortrex. Our initial mount had such a bad angle on it, that the trolling motor shaft slants pretty heavilly back to the boat/hull, shooting the transducer behind us and really messing up the efficiency of the trolling motor.

So I built a couple of mock up trolling motor wedges to level it out, but there is not a level surface to mount the trolling motor to. When you put a level on it, it's got a ton of variance from back to front of the mount.

I've got a Poche Wedge coming in, but it's not really any different than the mock up 2x4's I cut down to do a proof of concept with.

Anyone have pics of their trolling motor mounts on this generation of Charger?

I've had an Ulltrex on my 295 for a couple years and the angle has never been an issue.
