    Beltzville Open Buddy Tournament - March 19, 2023

    Hawghunters of Allentown will host its first Open Buddy Tournament of 2023 on March 19 at Beltzville.

    🎣 Tournament hours are 7am - 3pm
    🎣 Four fish limit, 15" minimum
    🎣 $70 entry fee includes lunker (Additional $10 at the ramp)
    🎣 80% payout up to 20 boats. We pay out 85% at 21 boats or more.
    🎣 Payout top 3 boats for up to 24 boats. We pay out 4 places at 25 boats or more.

    Weather not looking good for Sunday - 15mph avg winds with gusts up to 33. We are monitoring and will make a final decision by Friday night and provide an update then.

    I was going to with a buddy and fish this, but since it would be the first time we ever fished Beltzville and in those conditions, we will not be attending, but were definitely planning on it. Please update if there is a rescheduling of the event.

    Given the weather forecast we have available to us at this time, we are canceling Sunday's Open Buddy Tournament at Beltzville. Winds averaging 20mph with 37mph gusts would make for a dangerous, miserable day.

    Looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow at our annual Fishing Flea Market from 8am - 2pm at the Salisbury Fire Hall - 1222 Marlow St. Allentown, PA 18103.

    Hopefully our friends at Primetime Anglers will have better weather for their open tournament at Beltzville next Saturday, 3/25. They run a great tournament and encourage you to support them.

    Event was cancelled due to weather conditions. Said in FB post that Primetime is having an Open this Saturday.
