    just picked up my new Puma STS

    I just picked up my new boat. Absolutely pumped about it.

    Thanks to Bass Cat and a huge thanks to Randall Morris at I69 Marine in Union City TN!

    i’ve got lots of work to get done in the next few days installing graphs and such.

    These aren’t the best pictures, I just snapped a couple real quick.

    Congrats on your new rig! Post some more pics once you get a chance. My puma sts build date slide back to 3/2 due to the ice storm closing Basscat down 2 days.

    Still working on the rigging. Got the bow all finished. Had to order a new mount for the console. Waiting for it to arrive.

    I didn't have time to wash it, but here's a couple more pictures.

    One thing I will say - the "Rage Red" name of the color is very misleading. It looks red in pictures, but in the sunlight in real life it is 100% orange. My heart genuinely sank when I saw it in the sunlight for the first time. It's the only thing I'm not 100% happy with. My dealer did warn me that it had some orange in it when I ordered it, but the sucker is completely orange in the sunlight. I knew it wasn't going to be candy apple red... but this lacks even a tint of red in my opinion.

    I've had a half dozen people see it and say "wow I can't believe YOU got orange" because they know how much I dislikes the Vols! haha

    In this photo it looks completely red. In real life you'd bet it wasn't the same boat.

    I love the Rage Red, but yes it has an Orange look to it. Goes perfect with their Coral gel coat color.

    Rage Red is definitely an orange base gel. It’s named after the Strike King Rage brand at that time of introduction.

    It’s a part of the Radiance series of more lively colors. Canary Yellow, Pro Blue, Rage Red and Vicious Lime.

    To me it looks somewhat “orangey” in your pics. In any case though, it is a great looking colour combo.

    I saw my first Puma STS 3 days ago at the Toronto spring fishing show. What an awesome rig. If I were to go back to a 20 footer again, that would be the model.
