    Let's see your rigs...

I love seeing the stuff people come up with. I've built seven fishing kayaks since 2009. I've always had one in the garage and most of the time now days this is my preferred fishing method.I'm in the process of upgrades as we speak, but the attached picture is from earlier this week.

Just rigged my 1 year old Autopilot with Livescope Plus. It had a Helix 7 last year. Added a custom center mount for both GPS units. Yakking in FLA this winter…

I picked up a spare cradle, so I'll be running one of the 93SV UHD Echomaps out of the boat this season.

Mine's still under cover. I'll probably pull it out in May. Pelican Catch with small 24 lb. trolling motor that fits in the pedal slot. Small 7" Hummingbird attached to the rail.

Basstronaut how did you like the ascend 10T you had. I'm thinking about buying one for some exercise and a little fishing. I'm not going to put any electronics on it just want to paddle around and fish a little out of it. This is not going to replace my boat. Just another toy for some exercise. I live on a canal that leads to lake Okeechobee. I'm thinking it would be nice to paddle around occasionally instead of being lazy and running the trolling motor. The exercise will do me some good. The ascend 10T seems to have a nicer seat than most of the budget friendly options available.

My first kayak was the bigger Ascend. It was a good inexpensive kayak that was very stable, but also difficult to maneuver when fishing because it didn't have a rudder. I had mine for about 6 years before I moved to a pedal drive with a rudder. Never had any issues with it.
