    1997 Triton TR21 Prop recommendation.

1997 Triton TR21 with a 2005 Yamaha HPDI 200, a 12 inch set back manual jake plate. 4 lead acid batteries along with a oil tank. On the bow is a force trolling motor along with 2 graphs. With that being said , looking for a prop and pitch that will give a good hole shot along with good lift. I'm not looking to run b*lls to the wall speed. Just looking for a all around good pitch and prop.
    Thanks in advance.

Try a 25 tempest, I run a 26 with a 225 on a 99 Tr-21 after trying lots of props it was the best all around performing.

You could try a 24p bravo too.

He's only got a 200 on a Tr-21- Its a bit underpowered and may have has excess setback. 8" is usually around the #.

Old Tr's seem to like stern lift and 4 blade props. I would think anything over 24" pitch, maybe even 23", will be too tall for a good fishing prop on that set up.

FYI: I have a 99 TR21 with a Yamaha 225. Also have a fixed 12" jack plate. Right now I am using a 26p bravo and it works fine for me. When I first bought the boat years ago it had a 27p T1 Yamaha prop and I changed to the 26p bravo which seems better overall.
