Can anyone out there answer this / I have a call to Ranger and I hope to hear from someone soon /I mean is it basically stickers / when I look at the NADA 188 is not listed on the Comanche Series. I am looking at a really nice 188vs and would like to do some research before I make a call to answer the ad.

VS was standard, VX was upgraded model. In 2008 they all were VX, upgrade was Comanche. The VS had a standard black dash, the VX had a wood grain simulated dash. I believe the VX also had compartment lights and a little “fancier” seat.

Sam , The actual boat itself is awesome. Do your normal checklist of motor and boat but the 06' is a great boat !
Owned one of these for the last few years. You won't be sorry, assuming you do all the standard pre-buying review of the motor and boat.
Is the 188 similar to a 518
Just bought an 08 188vs. Going to pick it up Thursday.
06 I read a lot about trailer brackets and failed welds. Was this an issue in 08??
If it's a TDE equipped trailer, then yes. Check out the welds where the brackets and axle are welded.
