    VX20 cover modifications?

For those of you with a Livescope or Active Target transducer on your trolling motor...Did you have any cover modifications to improve the fit? Mine seems to put pressure on the transducer. The boat is stored outside and the mounts don't seem all that sturdy so I'm concerned about cinching the cover too tight. Also water tends to pool near that area which could put additional stress on it. Debating whether to try to get the cover altered but I don't want to risk damaging it either.

I am almost positive my livescope mount broke because of my cover.
I thought about carving a piece of Styrofoam to go over the transducer to take the stress off of the transducer. Something I can just put on when I put the cover on, but I am adding 360 to my boat, so I will have to get the cover modified for that, & that should solve the problem.

I just installed my 360 & to my surprise the stock cover still fit.
