    22-23 RT188P w/Maxxum 70

When lifting the Maxxum it hits bow. Thinking it was mounted incorrectly. Anybody else have this issue?

Even if you put your foot on the pedal to turn the head sideways?

What hits and where? Got a picture of the mount? My mount sticks out over the bow a bit.

No. Only if I just pull it and stow standing flat footed.

Prop, Starboard bow. Mount is 2-3” over Bow, seems it should be more? When stowed, prop contacts bow non-skid. Thanks for all info, I’m kinda spoiled coming from a 2016 Puma.

I have a RT178 with the Maxxum 70, short shaft, 42"? I'll take a pic and measure the overhang tomorrow. By the way, I apply pressure to the foot pedal to keep the motor from rubbing over the motor rest but I don't think the prop hits the non-skip material if I didn't. I'll check it out in the morning.

I think you just have to put your foot on the pedal. I think the Ghost and maybe the Garmin one twist themselves as you stow them, but the minn kotas need to be turned manually.

Well, I had a short circuit in the cranium. I'll take another shot at it after the sun comes up today.

If the prop was in the right position, it could touch the boat in front of the non-skid while stowing, but just barely. I usually "help" the motor turn on it's side while stowing. When stowed it clears the non-skid by a about 1/32".

Thanks Ted, I thought mine was a little jacked up. Just can’t believe White River don’t use a template for rigging. Oh well, will drill correct holes when I install a Ultrex. Thanks for the pic again Ted.

i've got the bps 65# version on my tracker, and have to make sure to turn the head with the pedal and not hit the switch. i think stowed the prop will still hit the boat
