    Wow Headwaters

Wow went to Headwaters for the first time today and fished
with Shiners and 3 of us caught over 50 over 3lbs with the
    biggest being 81/2. Caught 6 over 5 lbs. Caught a 91/2 on
Kissimmee yesterday with 4 over 5lbs. Going back to
    Headwaters tomorrow.

Went back Friday and caught 31 over 3 pounds with biggest 71/2 and 4 or 5 over
6 pounds. I’m not a big shiner guy but that’s almost a guarantee fish and when you
spend 3-4 thousand $$ for a weeks fishing.

You did use circle hooks exclusively? I've not known any guided shiner trips that use them.

They should be mandated like they are for SW reef fish.

Circle hooks are required when using live bait over 3 inches when fishing in the Headwater per FWC

It’s the Law and I try not to break the Law. There is a huge poster board
next to the ramp with the regulations. No keeping any fish period!!!

We were not on a Guided trip just Fun fishing.

Thanks, I did not know that.

I am surprised that FWC implemented a good thing.
