    ZX150 console graph

Has anyone successfully did a 9” flush mount? I feel like it will go but it’s close and I don’t want to shave anything off the console.

You might have to trim the opening a little. I had a 9" Lowrance Ti flush mounted. When I upgraded to a 9" Lowrance Carbon I had to enlarge the opening.

I ended up buying the Bass Boat Technology mount. It was too close for comfort fitting in the dash. The BBT mount is awesome

Looks great, did you have to add a steering wheel spacer ?

No, I actually slid it back on the bracket after this pic. I already had enough room on the wheel but that gave me a bit more. One thing I did have to do was use a dremel to shave a bit on the console opening for the back of the switches to clear. Skeeters hole was everything but square.

How far can you tilt the the steering wheel? Looking at mounting 106sv, and would like to have steering wheel tilt up 1 notch.

I’m up 2 clicks and can still turn just fine. I slid it bad further after this pic. I really like the mount and have no regrets

Also if you are worried, you can get the taller gimbal mount with it to give more clearance

How difficult was it to replace the switches? What process did you use to swap?

It’s not hard, just time consuming. Getting the fins on the back pushed in was the tedious part. I took pics of the wires placement just in case but My wires pretty much stayed in their position once I removed them so placing back was easy.

Definitely not hard, just a little time. As was mentioned earlier, most time consuming part of install was using dremel to square up Skeeters factory cut. Recently installed BBT mount with Helix 10 on my ZX150.

What was not square, did you go with other switch option?

The console cutout. You will likely need to trim the bottom with a dremel to allow your switches to sit flush. I used the same switches and kept the same switch position. It’s easy to mount this. Just take your time. You’ll like it
