    Sierra vs BRP Fuel Filter

I have a 2009 250HO and I'm having a hard time fiding a replacement BRP fuel filter. I'm able to find several different resources that have the aftermarket Sierra filter. I'm curious if this aftermarket filter is as good as the original BRP filter ?

www.marineengine.com has one OEM filter in stock 10 micro and 10 Sierra 10 micron filters in stock. Have you checked with your local dealer on availability? Shouldn't be an issue with the Sierra filter.

I will be switching over to the Sierra filter this spring. After doing a lot of research I have concluded the OEM filter and the Sierra filters do the same thing if both filters are indeed 10 micro filters, except the OEM filter cost almost 2x as much and much harder to find.
