Pretty sure it needs fixin'

Johnson Venom 200, MDL: J200STLEOA, SN: G 03854844, 3 ram tilt and trim. When putting it on the motor mate it will not pull the lower rams in as I have always done on other motors in the past to tighten it down to inhibit movement. I made sure the fluid was topped off but no change. I can push the ram in on one side by hand put if i push the other side down the opposite side comes back up. Do I have blown seals?? Any help is appreciated.

Remove the fluid fill plug. Place oil pan under unit to catch overflow. You should be able to push both cylinders down with the excess oil draining out of the system.

The 95 faststrike trim system does not pull the trim pistons down like the older engines did.
