    marine lithium batteries

Hey guy's, I'm in need of some advice on what lithium batteries I need them for a 80lb thrust minn kota ultrex on a 1998 TF395 charger with a 225efi. I've been using Group 31 optima batteries and they have lasted for 6 years tournament fishing. I have one going bad and I'm looking at switching to lithium. Any recommendation? I appreciate the feed back.

Ionic 100ah would be my vote. Andy a board sponsor can set you up with what you need. Excellent customer service.

Impulse Lithium is a board sponsor, they are an excellent battery and give a BBC discount. They also offer exceptional customer service! I love mine!

I have had Relion and Impulse. I prefer Impulse mainly because I can call with a question and talk to someone.

I've got Powerhouse Lithium for my TM and electronics. Will replace my crank one day also, but my AGM has a couple good years left.

Try communicating with this company pre sale and see if that gives you any faith for after the sale warranty claims

X 2, I would avoid Dakota like the plague. Zero customer service.

I swapped out 2 Optima blue top 31s for 2 Impulse Lithium Premium 100ah with bluetooth and you can't kill them even with Ultrex on high with wind and current etc...

Standard lead acid only for that motor, no agms, gels or lithium, Will cause some very expensive charging system problems
    Thank You Leon Pugh

Most of the name brand lithiums with a quality bms for for any trolling motor would be fantastic. As far as starting, what I said also. Does require a starting battery though….

Exactly, design the system to fit the customers demands and you don't have to worry about power again!
