    Update problem

    Good morning,
I finally got the mega live transducer I am attempting to update the software on my Helix unit. When I put the SD card in the Helix nothing happens I tried a different card thinking that was the problem that did not work. I have the correct kind of cards because I have used them before and double checked that. Have any of you experienced this issue, any thoughts on what the issue could be? Thank you all for your help I appreciate it.

Did you long format the card, not the quick format?

Did you match the software download to your exact unit?

Did you wait about 5 minutes after the card was inserted so the unit writes the Encrypt folder to the card, reads the software file, and then gives you the menu to install the software?

To update the MEGA LIVE, the unit software has to be installed and then the LIVE software has to be installed to the LIVE transducer when it is powered and recognized.

I did not wait 5 minutes, I'll give that a try.
    Thanks Wayne.

Have to be patient...not a strong suit for many of us, haha! But it worked for me - did the head unit first and then rebooted and waited and it came up and did the ML update as well.
