Rap-ah- la.. and it’s wrong but hard to break habits and it’s what everyone around here has called it for as long as I can remember. The phonetic spelling is Rap-e-la. Similar how Seppala is pronounced sep-e-la and not Sep-ah-la.
interesting that Rapala-VMC owns Okuma.. i thought they just owned Rapala, Storm, Blue fox, 13 fishing, VMC, Sufix, and trigger-x. Looking at their site there’s a bunch of brands they own that I had no idea
