    Combo Map Help

I’m trying to run 2 maps from one combo screen. Doesn’t look like I can do two fishing chart so was going to do one each fishing / navigation charts. The issue I’m having the navigation chart doesn’t appear to use the chart setup? I’ve got map orientation course and vessel heading, detail most and world map full. What am I doing wrong? The “direction line” moves around. 93UHD, thanks for any help.

You should be able to have two fishing charts setup.....looking at it on my 126.....not an expert but don't believe you will get the "fishing" stuff on navigation chart as its for navigating purpose not fishing......

I’ve got the same settings on both fishing and navigation. The fishing chart shows my heading correctly and the navigation bounces around in different directions. Do you have to “select” what GPS for each? I’ve got a Lowrance Point 1 via nema.

You shouldn't have to chose GPS source as its already selected for the unit.....were you sitting on the trailer or on water?

Setting on the trailer. That’s what has me confused, fishing chart “boat” sets still and in the correct direction. Navigation charts “boat” spins around all directions like I’ve seen without a Point 1 on Lowrance units.

Testing this in Simulator Mode with a UHD 74 running current 23.10 software, both the Fishing Chart and Navigation Chart use the heading value correctly when orienting the vessel icon. This is with both charts set to Heading under Vessel Orientation. Make sure you have Heading selected under Vessel Orientation on both charts (and not COG). Auto should work too. Auto will prefer Heading over COG.

Just an oversight really. Allowing dual Fishing Charts is on the list of features for possible inclusion with future updates.
