    One reason records today should have an asterix. Much easier to accurately throw the ball when you're not worried about the defenders.

    they should make a rule that the runner can't place his leg under a tackler..

    Just make a rule that the guy with the ball must slow down until the guy trying to tackle him can get in front of him. Problem solved.

    If I'm not mistaken it is legal to tackle by grabbing the hair. To me that should be illegal.

    So, once a ball carrier get's past the last defender, he scores. Unless the defender is waaaaaay faster than the ball carrier and can hit him from behind with enough speed to hit him high and knock forward, how the heck are you supposed to tackle someone from behind?

    Just declare both teams winners and pass out trophies before the game starts.
    This way the spectators can get home earlier.
