    303 fabric protectant

    Is this a good or bad idea on boat carpet ?
    2021 rt188p , Mercury 115 Pro XS CT , Croxton Razor 4XLR 22 , Z lock 4” jack plate , 8’ power pole blades

    Never used it on carpet. I would be concerned that the contents may degrade the adhesive that is used for carpets. I'm sure those with some engineering/chemical backgrounds can better answer. On plastic, vinyl, etc.... seems to work really well.

    I did it before. Water beaded up and ran off pretty well when running. I honestly think it made it easier to keep clean. BUT with constant foot traffic around a small area like a bass boat deck, it seemed to wear off quickly, and we know that stuff isn't cheap. For me it was a one and done.

    I use it to clean stains, mostly blood off my tan carpet with no problems.

    My bad....I use Bass Boat Saver. 303 is great stuff but I've never used it on carpet.

    I used to use it but found out it has no UV protection so I switched to some stuff made by Star Brite.
