    Ghost TM help

    Hey guys just got a new lynx with a ghost. Old boat had an ultrex which had a function I called north heading. Push the button and the trolling motor will be constant on and travel in the direction it’s pointed. Does the ghost have this? My ghost has 4 buttons, 1 is obviously anchor/spot lock, one has one dot on it, another has 2 dots on it and the last has 3 dots on it. From what I’ve read the ones with dots on them are all programmable buttons. Can they be programmed to a “north heading function”? I am running a 12 live at the bow.

    Meaning I can program it to be a north heading type of function? And this is all done in the settings of the graph?

    Yes. There are a few options you can set buttons 1 2 3 to do.

    Example button 1 constant, button 2 waypoint, button 3 heading.

    Not sure how new you are to Lowrance but you can also program the buttons on the hds live as well.

    The button with one dot should already be programmed as constant

    You can control it with the graph if they are both connected to a NMEA 2000 network.

    You can control it through the graph but you can also program the buttons through your Lowrance HDS unit. There is a heading and a course lock. Heading is basically like constant on. Course maintains your course and accounts for wind and or current.
