HB 3GN 2.28 Base Map Update

I need some help updating to the new 2.28 base map.My unit has the previous version 1.031. I have installed the 2.80; so, when I attempt to install the base map, I received a message invalid file.

1.130 is the basemap.

2.280 is the display operating software

Back when the 2.280 software was released, it also included a link to the basemap download.

2.280 prepared the unit for the basemap download===two different processes.

2.280 deletes the original basemap so the 1.130 basemap file can be installed in its place.

Wayne, I'm a little confused as usual. I downloaded 1.031 basemap this past summer. Are you saying that the 1.031 that is now on the HB 2.280 download page is different from the 1.031 that I already have on my units now? If I have to download 1.031 again do I put the 2.280 and the (new) 1.031 on the same SD card or two different cards?

I had no issue with my H15, but my two G3 H12’s keep giving me the “Invalid Update” notice when trying to update to 2.280. I tried three different brands of SD cards and three brand new ones. I even reformatted the card that worked on the 15 with no joy on either my 12’s. MDI & MSI units. I’m not trying to update the base map as I already have 1.031 on all my units.
