My two previous trucks were basically purchased new, one Chevy and one Ford. kept them both for 10 years, 200,000 miles. The Chevy cost me a lot more in repairs, needed a new transmission just over 100,000 miles after warranty expired. I bought a new Ram (5.7 Hemi) this year. I am not brand loyal as you can see. Chevy was the worst of the 3 for pulling power and obviously worse than the Ford for reliability. The Ford (3.5 ecoboost) had the most pulling power of the 3. Ram is just behind the Ford for pulling power, but not bad. We will see how this Ram stacks up in years to come for reliability. Ram is the smoothest riding of the 3, hands down.
