Installed a Ninja Grass Blade on Jacob Wheeler's new iKon boat.

Jacob was in the area last night preparing for an upcoming Okeechobee tournament, so we thought it was a good time to put a Ninja Grass Blade on his new boat. You can contact Precision Sonar with any questions about the NGB or any of their other fine products for your boat.

I had a few minutes to go over Jacob's new ride and saw some interesting items. A partial list were things like a device that allows for additive to be added to livewells automatically, timing set from the console, livewells with no sharp edges, livewell chilling system (no more bags of ice), water tight lids and handles, rear lids that open allowing easy access from either on the water or on the ground, and what appeared to me was a radical change from other hulls regarding "lifting strakes". These boats aren't for everyone ($$$), but they do appear to be different in a good way and may make other boat builders more aware of fish care.

It appears that the bow shroud for electronics is plastic/vinyl vs glass. Was that the case?

I don't know... a Fortrex with Dual Ninja's is the bees knees down here in the Florida Slop. I think some early Ninja's had adhesion issues, but they corrected that. Have since moved to a Ghost, but still have that Fortrex in the garage, just in case :).

Ninja a good product chopped threw some thick weeds, , but hers the thing after a while take the prop off and with a fine file sharpen them up, see a big difference.

Nice to see they are at least trying to think outside the box

Auto additive to livewells is a nice touch
Hope it’s not just liquid additive as G-Juice is pricy

They’ve tried the livewell chilling system before but they draw a ton of power
Maybe with today’s lithium’s they are viable now

I’m truly curious to see the hull and hear how it effects the ride

If you can afford a new ikon, g juice costs won’t be a problem

Zero interest in an Ikon boat.. but competition will drive innovation!

I did purchase a grass blade and I'm curious to see how well it works.. particularly in that freaking eel grass on Guntersville!
