Mine is one of the first made. Retired and fish in dirty brackish water twice a week. Never touched mine. Silicone works when the get dry and sticky. Bought the others but never had to put them in. Yet

amount of usage plus the angle its mounted will dictate how long it lasts.

forth year soon, bushing still good, can't warp the mount when doing an install guys or slamming into the bank and trees, Shimming the mount on installs is critical as well as rubber pad 1/4 in thick at least, Thats opinion anyway and results back me up.
    Thank You Leon Pugh

Get the Delrin bushings, much better than the stock plastics. Not expensive, and easy to install.

    Part #486

Have seen a couple of them broken, but usually just worn.

What I use in both of my Ultrex:

Look up Slab Crazy Outdoors on facebook. They have replacement bushings and they are top notch.

Mine are a little over 3 yrs and I'm replacing them now. Using the JC Racing ones and also installing a new piston, but using the one for a 112 on my 80. I've added weight with the Transducer for my Raymarine Axium RV on the TM so that should help. I did find that using an Impact Punch Driver helped to get the screws to release much easier. Found that out after messing up one of the screw heads and had to drill it out and then use a Screw Remover !

slab outdoors has billet arms and bushings. He told me the arms remove side to side slop. Interesting concept
