Current model that compares to Chronarch 50MG?

I have 4 old Chronarch 50MG reels. Love em.
One of them I use to throw Rogues.
Arthritis has put a damper on my jerkbait fishing with my left wrist/hand.

So I’m looking for a left handed reel that would compare to my Chronarch. 6.2:1, small frame and very light.

I haven’t bought any Shimano reels since ??? 200E7 were the last so I’m not up on all the models since then.

Of the newer Curados, or any other, what would be a near identical reel to my Chronarch 50MG?

    Thanks

Aldebaran - It's almost the same except a little lighter and a little faster.

I've got a couple of those old 50MG and still like them a lot.

Look at the little Daiwa Tatula 70 SV, it comes in 6.3:1, 6.5oz, and left-handed. Because of my wife's small hands I've bought her an Aldebaran 50mgl, Curado K 70mgl (doesn't come in 6.2:1), and the Tatula 70. The Diawa casts very well with the SV spool.

Shimano Aldebaran looks sweet but no way I’m paying that much for a reel.

The Daiwa Tatula 70 SV looks like a good choice for my application.
Really don’t want to pay full freight for something until I’ve seen if it fits my need.
But I’ll sure be looking out for a second hand one.

Aldebaran or a 70 sized Curado/Scorpion. If the price scares you away, look at used reels. Some mint reels can be had for not a lot of money.

Aldebaren is not built the way CHMGs we’re. It’s a much more finessey reel. spool, drag etc etc….Dan
