    Humminbird network

Hello. I want to network a helix 12 g4n msi at the console to a Helix 10 g4n mdi on the bow. When I purchased my minn kota ulterra it was just universal sonar model. So I will be using the Helix 10 mdi transducer attached to the ulterra. I will be converting the ulterra to have the ipilot link. I know I need an ethernet switch.

Do I attach the ipilot link and mdi transducer to the ethernet switch? Or can I just attach the mdi transducer to the bow unit transducer port? Then just ethernet link the bow helix 10 to the console helix12

What's the best way to network this?

The MDI transducer connects to the unit's transducer port.

LINK is an Ethernet connection so it would connect to an Ethernet Switch along with the two displays to their Ethernet ports.

An Ethernet cable just has two ends, with LINK that is three Ethernet connections=Ethernet Switch.
