You’ll need to go down at least 1” of pitch.

I know a guy running a 2004 21 triton. He is running a Promax 26 or 27 I think. Getting unreal top end out of his 4 stroke. Good luck

Next time you see him can you find out if it’s a 26 or 27?

I probably won't run into him till March when tourneys start up. I'm 90% sure it's a 27 Promax and he's running it high. I think he said 1 3/4" prop to pad.

Not a backplate rating but a hull rating. If people put one too big on a new boat it stresses the hull therefore the warranty is voided. I realize yours is older so go for it and I hope it works out well for you.

Thanks. I talked to another guy who runs a pro max prop on his older TR-21 also and it is fast. And yes he runs his motor high also. I can run mine to 1-1/2 below pad and still have 15 psi water pressure but with a 25 tempest it isn’t fast with it raised that high. Thanks for your response.

I've got a 10, had a 5 origonally on my 98tr21, my advise is go with an 8, handling got better but until I repowered, holeshot and backwash sucked
