    T1 25 Pitch on ZX250

    Wondering if a T1 25 pitch prop is a good option for a 250 SHO on a ZX250?

I don’t see why not as I have one on my 2014 SHO and has outstanding hole shot, acceleration, bow lift, and top end performance at 6000 rpm. I had mine professionally worked and blueprinted. My prop wizard was very detailed with me in getting my rig dialed in especially with P2P, prop to pad height. He also told me a good T1 is hard to find and very valuable in his line of work. My setup performs best at 2.75” to 3.0” P2P, using an Atlas 8” JP. Ranger boats are not known for fast speeds at WOT but, I think a 2014 Ranger Z521C running 70-71 mph gps is pretty good and good enough for me. I would think your Skeeter would be faster and perform very well.

Bottom line in IMO, is to have your prop(s) professionally worked, know your P2P numbers, and find the sweet spot for best overall performance. A worked prop / engine set too high or too low is waste of money and performance…….

Totally agree with JT, spending the money to blueprint and work the prop is such a game changer for the prop and for the performance. Not to mention you are balancing the prop and that too gives life to the lower unit......nobody talks about this. Also agree with JT regarding heights and incorrect heights, every boat is different, you must run the prop first and provide your numbers to the specialist in order to achieve the results fitted for you and your boat.
Big boy toys cost money......grrrr. But, in the end it is worth the extra zero doubt.
Do research first, lots of research and then make your best decision.

you need to make sure it is a non vented T1, from what i have been informed you can run vented or non vented on a SHO but non vented is apparently preferred

If your going to get the prop worked/blueprinted I suggest you send it to Mark Croxton Propellers before he retires
