I thought the creeks were off limits in the winter?

Yeah so that reads off limits until June if I read that correctly.
That does not make sense because Striper season runs before that and I have caught largemouth and smallmouth fishing for stripers early May.Originally Posted by billybas

You can’t target largemouth smallmouth bass. You can fish legally if targeting other species that are in season
Exactly. Just say you are fishing for walleye as you toss your jig into a brush pile.
