    What a reversal

Wow this market changed directions quick after the Fed meeting. I didn't think his news conference was that positive as he indicated future hikes but the market must be looking past it.

    I thought the same.

Can we have a bull market while QT is taking place and rising rates? If we can, and thats a big IF, QT has only been going on for several months, then the fed playbook is written for future recessions and shouldn't be feared.

I thought QT would be more meaningful, but so far it hasn't mattered.

I think people know the fed has kind of worked itself into a corner. They can't keep raising the rates for ever as the intrest on the debt is astronomical. I also think the street is getting tired of hearing Jerome talk, if you just listened to him talk yesterday, you would have thought they would raised rates by a whole percent, when actually it was .25

I took advantage of the recent move to sell. Especially the META move.

I sold the rest of my Tesla stock today. I ended up making some nice profits. I'm all cash with my trading money now.

Earnings not great tonight. People celebrated what they think is a more dovish fed but going forward earnings may start becoming a bigger factor.

Shorts are getting wrecked!! Irrational markets like this is the reason I don’t like that play.

I was positive on my AMZN for a few hours but it's back down. I'm in at a 113 average. Planning on holding it for a while so I'm not worried

So with this new China thing do we expect some red in the markets sometime or will the markets ignore it?

There's always some sort of tensions with China. I don't see why this would matter more than other issues that have popped over the years. The "trade war" and tariffs were impactful and the markets did just fine. I think the only thing that would really matter is a Taiwan invasion. If I start to see reports of Chinese troops gathering near the ports and news of "war games" and "training" exercises, I'll do some selling and put buying.

Yeah I guess that would be the main concern. The media took this whole balloon thing and kind of blew it up, but it didn't seem to impact the markets so far, so I guess it probably won't unless something bigger happens like you said

The charts are NOT bearish, and I don't get it.
