    I what to thank the OP for this thread. It forced me to clean out my sock drawers. Yes, plural is correct. Before I threw a bunch away, I had 64 pairs of white socks, 50 pairs of dark socks, 10 pair of light colored socks and 8 mismatched socks. I think some were about 50 years old.

    As for the other, I didn't lose it, I know exactly where it is.
    The best way to cheer yourself up is to cheer up someone else.
