    February 2017

It was the end of February and I drove out to Bulls Shoals AR to pick up my new Caracal from Steve Eastwold at Bull Shoals Boat Dock. I have been beyond pleased with my rig for the last 6 years. I am still glad I went with the Caracal. I could have gotten a Cougar or Eyra with a 250 but I am glad I chose the wide profile of the Caracal. My rig is still in great shape and the 225 SHO has been great.

Gosh… we miss Steve and are glad his crew is carrying on what he started. He came from a 15 x 15 utility dock shop to the building on the hill. Now they’ve built what he always wanted.

Steve was an awesome guy. I felt like we had known each other for years.

Very cool guy. Gone way too soon. Put a lot of boats in my area back in the day.

Bought my first new Cat from Steve in '96. Even got to meet Ron at the marina the day we drove down and picked it up. Talked to him for hours.

I had a 2016 caracal. Per all the posts about proping those things the SHO seemed to be the better choice those years from what I heard. Glad to hear you are still enjoying the rig! I miss my 2017 puma, it was probably the best built one I had owned over the years.

Louie, I have been running a 24 Fury 3 blade and it has been a great all around prop.

Thanks Mike! Of course I am biased, but it looks even better when BR200 is driving it.
