Cobra dual consul, method to secure pass rods

While I'm at it with my big 2023 update on my cobra, I often fish with my oldest or someone especially tourney days, has anyone installed a better way to organize and secure the passenger rods behind the consul on a dual consul boat? Was thinking either making a aluminum bracket to hold the but ends and a retractable strap to secure them from rod saver. Seeing what others have done

Honestly I prefered the open space under the console for the rod butts and reels over the three slot bracket I have in my current boat. It seems neat to have slots, but you would be suprised how the reels and lines of the other rods tangle when running down the lake. The only issue was longer rods wouldn't fit under the "rod locker door". Those rods I just told co-angler to shut the door and let the rods rest against the edge of the door.
