I am in Florida. We get a lot of sunshine. I am in a bad situation and I am going to lose my storage spot with electricity for a while until another electric spot opens up. I cannot figure what to do. Catfan said 100 watts. I am just looking for anybody that has real world experience and will it work. I never really fish 2 days in a row so it would have at least one full day to charge. It is a small boat with a 12 volt TM.. I have never run the TM battery down on it. I just want to find somebody that has really done this.

A single 12v battery shouldn't be too hard. Lead acid? How many amp hours?

I do not know the battery specs by heart. I will have to go to the boat and uncover it and see. It is a big deep cycle old fashioned type.
They forecast bad weather tomorrow so it may be a day or two but I will get it.

Sounds like you’ll be able to get a solar setup working, but another option could be taking the battery with you to charge at home. You could rig up a quick disconnect in the boat to make it easier.

My need for solar comes from where I am going to store it for a few months until an electric site opens up.
I never fish two days in a row so it would have at least one full day of solar. I have never run this battery down. It is 12 volt 105 AH. My TM is also 12 volt 45 pound thrust and I never fish all day. Can I do it and what to buy?? This is not the RT...IT is my little aluminum boat.
