    Motels in Marion, IL

    Are there any decent motels in Marion to stay at if you have a group bringing bass boats? My club has a tournament each year at Egypt and usually a few of us stay at America's Best due to the outlets. Trying to find somewhere else that has outlets that is of better quality. It seems that motel has been going downhill the last few years.

    I always just stay at the hotel right down the road from the ramp. I think it’s called lake tree inn and suites.

    The Lake Tree Inn... Home of 120 degree hallways and curry smell!! We also stay there. Make sure to hit Walts Pizza up the road about 20 min one night for dinner!

    Yep…Lake Tree is WAY more convenient than staying in Marion. I would also recommend Walt’s as well. They have pretty good steaks, etc. and their pizza is decent as well. As mentioned, Lake Tree is just a typical “tournament motel” but you can keep your truck hooked to your boat and back right up to the outlets and it is adjacent to a gas station as well.
