92-95’ Johnson 150 Faststrike value

Needing opinions on value. Gonna go look at a motor this weekend. It’s been sitting is all I know.

Case 1. Mechanically sound no major issues besides carb work

Case 2. Need work, issues unknown

92 had fixed orifice carbs 95 had adjustable idle carbs. Depends on condition of motor as to the value. Model number will tell you the year. Go to NADA boats and you can find the average retail price.

Hopefully you can find one with adjustable carbs fixed orifice can be a PIA if you know what I mean ....but when they run right there great motors and strong...
