Well still a no go for me. I get a fail message then takes me back to the files page to install the update again. Very odd as I’ve never had an issue loading any updates on my solix units

Do you have the MEGA LIVE connected, powered, and recognized?

May want to do another download in case yours was corrupted.

Yeah tried that and got same thing. Maybe it’s the card although it’s fairly new and I always reformat it

I have had 2 occasions where I needed to reformat a micro SD to get an update to work properly. They were new at the time . I used long(full) format to ensure everything was redone and check for bad spots.. The 2 cards have not been an issue since.(San Disk Ultra 32 gig)

There is no need (possibly no way) to update each unit.

When I did the 1.170 update, I installed on the main bow unit only. All seems to work.

I'm assuming you are referring to Mega Live as there is no Humminbird product called LiveScope... That's a Garmin product.

You install the Mega Live update through a head unit which has the latest update but it installs the 1.200 update to the Mega Live itself. You only need to do it once.

I always have trouble if I do the quick format, try doing the long format, it has worked for me.

1.200 is MEGA LIVE software for its processor, if you do not have MEGA LIVE you cannot apply it.
You can update the displays with 2.800 if you want.

I just finished updating my 3 Helix units and then did the Mega live update. Install went flawlessly. If you have Helix units, probably better to update them first with the Helix update, then do the Mega Live. I definitely can tell they fixed a bug I called to their attention after the last version. Fixed the Mega360 on sharing units stuck in standby screen after the M360 host unit had been in standby. It's good to see that.

Wayne, need help. In my Helix9msi+ have 2.660 software and 1.031 base map. 2.800 firmware not working, tried on 7 different sd cards- max 32GB- same result. Do I need 2.760 upload before 2.800?

AND make sure you download the exact software for your exact model. There are two generations of Helix 9 MSI+

Hi all, bringing this thread back from the dead. Has anyone seen a difference with v1.2 compared to v1.17?

I occasionally experience my head unit (Helix 10 MDI+ G4N on v2.750) freezing while using Mega Live (networked off of Humminbird Ethernet Switch) and am only able to hard restart by pulling the power. If anyone has the same issue, has the upgrade fixed it? I'm not sure I want to go to the work of updating my head units and the transducer firmware if not.
