Hi,
We need some honest help. My sister-n-law is trying to sell my late brothers 2015 Stratos 294 XL Evolution. The posting is on the top of the Stratos to sell a boat page. We need some help figuring out a fair price for both parties. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks I thought that might be too high. She posted on facebook for 38500. Is that a reasonable price? The boat looks amazing and she is ready to sell.

low to mid 30s should be a good deal for someone. I would wait it out for a month or two to see what happens after fishing season starts

Sorry for the loss of your brother.
That's a beautiful low hour Stratos and the 294 is a quick hull.
Most buyers want a spot lock trolling now and larger updated electronics. Both of which are costly to add, also Stratos is no longer in business so that's going to scare away more potential buyers.
I'm a huge Stratos fan, owned 3 of them and I'd run this one in a heartbeat but for the couple reasons I mentioned the price is too high. Mid to low $30k's should move it.

Here's a couple at 2 different dealers, same year range but newer electronics, both mid $30k range and both have been for sale for a while. Good luck

That's all well and good but he was asking if it's priced right and it's clearly overpriced by a significant amount.

There is a 2018 Bass Cat Pantera loaded up pretty good with 103 hours listed for 42,000 on the For Sale forum. Judging by that I would say about 32,000-34,000 would be a fair price for the Stratos.

I had a 2015 ranger z119c. I was going to trade it in in 2021 and was going to get close to what I bought the boat new for. Your price at 42k is probably close to what that boat was new. I looked at them when I got my ranger but can’t remember for certain. It’s rigged ready to fish but could use some upgrades for today but that doesn’t mean it can’t go as is. That was a well rigged boat for 2015 before ffs and spotlock. I would stick to your 38.5k listed on Facebook and leave room for some negotiation. First 35k offer let it go.

Also some talk about used boats comming down. I think with the current environment used boats could be harder to find as more people will stick with what they got vs the sticker shock today. I think you will always see a lot of 1 to 2 year old boats used but the amount of 5, 10, 15 year old boats is going to be less and less.

Sold a 2014 Stratos 294 Evolution with a 200 proxs last summer for 32,000. HdS gen3 12, Hds Gen2 12 and Garmin 1222 with livescope. Dual axle, manual plate, good condition but had over 600 hours. Great boat btw.

This looks to be a great clean boat. With a great engine but needs updates on electrics and TM
